Welcome to our collection of Corona Labels! Each of the images in this Gallery is scanned from original examples and uploaded without alteration. Its purpose is to compile the most complete and comprehensive research collection of all citrus art pertaining to Corona, California.
Included with each of these labels is all the information currently available to us. Since this is a collaborative effort, we warmly welcome your input: additional details, corrections, or your own photos. If you notice anything we've missed or would like to contribute, please don’t hesitate to reach out!
Lithography is incredible to admire in person, but digital scanning often leaves out (or exaggerates) many details. Determining exactly what you are looking at is sometimes best done through description. Evaluating art is highly subjective, but we had to start somewhere! We encourage all collectors to follow some form of unvarying judgement with your collection.
Our examples are graded using the CGC standard 10-point scale to maintain consistency. In an online world where comparisons can quickly become chaotic, we decided on this standard to help ground our evaluations. Please note, however, that all grading has been done informally and voluntarily to the best of our abilities, not by certified professionals. We chose the comic book grading system because it offers some of the most consistent and widely understood terminology in the world of collectibles. We hope this is a practical fit for researching labels.
